Local Tattoo Artist Gives Her Labubu Makeovers

Taking to social media, Lazze’ Tattoos shared a video of her giving a tattoo to her beloved Labubu.

For those who’ve been living under a rock, the Labubu figures, created by Hong Kong illustrator Kasing Lung and retailed by Chinese toy giant Pop Mart, have become a viral sensation these past few days.

The human-fluffy animal hybrid soft toys are selling for hundreds in some cases. For Lazze however, it provided an opportunity to practice her tattoo artistry.

Lazze tattooed her logo onto the Labubu’s face as it joins her for all her client work during the day.

Late Paul Xuereb Given Farewell With Truck Parade

A tribute was held for the late Paul Xuereb, who was crushed to death with his own truck in Ħal Far this past weekend.

A truck car-cade, donning banners of the late Xuereb, drove through the roads in honour of the passed, with friends and family gathering for one last farewell.

A video shared Facebook page ‘It’s all about Trucks’ captures the truck car-cade, paying tribute to the late Xuereb.

James Carragher Reflects On Netherlands Match

Taking to social media, James Carragher, the son of ex-England footballer Jamie Carragher, reflected on his last match representing Malta agains The Netherlands for the World Cup Qualifiers.

The match ended in an 8-0 loss for Malta despite the latter’s effort to push forth in their qualifier attempts.

Bernard Grech Given Standing Ovation & Thanked For Everything

Newly resigned Nationalist Party Leader Bernard Grech received a standing ovation and was thanked for his service and commitment as the election process for a new leader officially begins.

At the start of the meeting, the committee officially took note of Dr Grech’s resignation and unanimously passed a motion to thank him for his five years of service as leader. He will remain in the role until a new leader is elected.

The Executive also agreed to call a meeting of the PN’s General Council, as required by the party’s statute.

During this council meeting, the Electoral, Records and Data Commission will begin the formal process to appoint a new party leader.

The General Council will take place on Sunday 22 June 2025 at the PN Headquarters.

The committee also approved the official rules that will guide how the leadership election is carried out, in line with the party’s statute.
