Local TV presenter Quinton Scerri, known for presenting the TVM programme ‘Popolin’, took to social media to address the seemingly ever increasing instances of suicide and the taboo around it.

‘Is no one asking how I can help? Not by copy pasting a Facebook post but through good action’, he wrote.

He urged people to post positivity instead of complaining and damaging posts when opening Facebook. ‘Try to think twice before offending or ridiculing someone online’.

‘Can you try and understand those around you instead of bringing them down? Are you helping your work colleague or breaking them further?’

‘Be the first one who makes the first step!’

Ħamrun Spartans secured an impressive 1-0 victory over Dinamo Tbilisi to advance to the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.

Despite playing the entire second half with ten men due to Uros Djuranovic’s controversial dismissal, the Maltese champions managed to shut out their opponents.

Djuranovic was shown a red card after a confrontation with Dinamo Tbilisi’s coach during half-time.

With a 3-1 aggregate win over the Georgian champions, Ħamrun Spartans earned their spot in the next round. They now face a challenging match against Hungarian champions Ferencvaros.

The match saw both teams battling hard, with Dinamo Tbilisi dominating possession, but Ħamrun Spartans displayed solid defensive organization. The winning goal came in stoppage time of the first half when Uros Djuranovic volleyed a cross from Seth Paintsil into the corner.

Despite being a player down in the second half, the Spartans defended resolutely, with goalkeeper Federico Marchetti making crucial saves.

Dinamo Tbilisi launched multiple attacks but failed to break through Ħamrun’s defense, hitting the post on one occasion. Marchetti’s stellar performance secured the memorable victory for Ħamrun Spartans.

‘Anti Hero’ singer Taylor Swift shared a special moment with the late Kobe Bryant’s daughter, Bianka during her Eras Tour concert, gifting her ’22’ hat in front of thousands in attendance.

The moment was captured by Bianka’s mum and wife of the late basketball player Vanessa as the singer performed the latest of her sold out show in Los Angeles.

As part of her outfit, Swift wore a pork pie hat as she sang ’22’, inspired by the music video of the same song. The 33 year old singer recognised Kobe’s daughter and went on to place the hat on Bianka’s head before they shared a hug.

This heart warming moment came after Bianka’s mother shared stories and posts to Instagram of the outfit she planned to wear. The jean jacket showed Kobe alongside Swift on her 1989 tour.

Kobe unfortunately died in a helicopter crash along with his 13 year old daughter Gianna. The news of his death also prompted a post from Swift herself, expressing her condolences to the Bryant family.
