A local mother, driven by her son’s battle with leukaemia, has organised a significant donation effort, contributing 1,700 wraps to the cancer support organisation Puttinu Cares.
This kind-hearted individual, whose 5-year-old son Adam is currently undergoing treatment for leukaemia, has drawn attention and gratitude from the community and Puttinu Cares itself. The organisation, dedicated to supporting children and adults affected by cancer, took to social media to acknowledge her generous initiative.
“Some people’s love, generosity, and kind-heartedness is incredible. Thank you for the support and well done on such an initiative,” read the heartfelt post from Puttinu Cares.
This act of generosity comes at a time when Puttinu Cares is ramping up its efforts for the upcoming annual telethon, a major fundraising event scheduled for Good Friday. The telethon aims to gather much-needed funds to support its cause and will be broadcast live across all local TV stations.
The donation of wraps by this compassionate mother not only highlights the power of community and personal experience in inspiring acts of kindness but also supports the organisation’s ongoing mission to provide care and assistance to those in need.
