As Lionel Messi’s soccer season winds down, he is expanding his brand off the pitch with exciting new ventures. Recently, Messi launched his first-ever fragrance, Messi Eau de Parfum, alongside a collaboration with Bad Bunny for Adidas Gazelle.

The cologne, infused with globally sourced ingredients like Central American cardamom and European cypress, captures Messi’s essence as a world champion, father, and gentleman.

Housed in a sleek navy blue glass bottle featuring his logo, the fragrance reflects Messi’s dynamic personality on and off the field.

Messi expressed his passion for creating a signature scent, highlighting the unique and personalised nature of the product, aimed at fans worldwide. The fragrance is accompanied by an 8.5-oz body wash and a Messi-branded toiletry bag.

Since joining Inter Miami in 2023, Messi has made a significant impact on Major League Soccer, drawing record-breaking crowds and boosting soccer’s exposure in the U.S.

His success with Inter Miami has served as a gateway for exploring business ventures, from fragrance creation to launching his sports drink, Más+, and a production company, 525. Messi continues to build a diverse and influential brand, both in sports and beyond.

The Duke & Duchess of Edinburgh visited Villa Guardamangia, which served as a Malta home for Queen Elizabeth II (then Princess Elizabeth) and Prince Philip between 1949 and 1951.

This was when Prince Philip was stationed in Malta as a Naval officer.

‘The villa is currently being restored, and The Duke and Duchess were given a tour by staff involved in the heritage project.’

The couple were accompanied in their visit with Minister for National Heritage, the Arts and Local Councils OWEN BONNICI

The Duke and Duchess visited Malta’s key historical sites, including the Maritime Museum, MUŻA, and the National War Museum.

They explored Villa Guardamangia, Queen Elizabeth II’s former residence, and the National Library.

On Wednesday, the Health Ministry announced the launch of its annual vaccination campaigns for flu and COVID-19, along with a pneumonia vaccine specifically for the elderly.

These vaccines are provided free of charge at health centres. The flu and COVID-19 vaccines are available to everyone aged six months and older, while the pneumonia vaccine, Pnewmokokkali 20 (PCV 20), is targeted at individuals aged 65 and above.

Vaccination will commence on October 21 and run until December 15 at health centres located in Floriana, Paola, Mosta, and Gozo, with services available daily from 1 PM to 7 PM (walk-in service).

Additionally, the vaccines can be obtained during working days at the Cospicua, Birkirkara, Gżira, Kirkop, Rabat, and Qormi health centres, also from 1 PM to 7 PM (walk-in service).

For residents of St. Vincent de Paul Home and Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, the vaccines will be administered in-house.

Individuals can choose to receive the vaccines together or separately, based on their preference.
