33 Year Old Woman Injured After Crash In Hamrun

Early this morning, at around 0230hrs, police were informed that an accident had taken place in Triq il-Kbira San Ġużepp, Ħamrun.

Police convened immediately on site and preliminary investigations showed that a Toyota Vitz driven by a 33 year old woman resident of Ħal Qormi had flipped after crashing into a parked Honda Fit.

The woman was given medical attention by a team and assisted by Civil Protection officers before being transported to Mater Dei Hospital.

She was later certified as having suffered grievous injuries. Police are still investigating.
