In an exclusive comment with Malta Daily, Minister for Education Clifton Grima urged educational institutions to quickly see how they can benefit from ChatGPT.
Asked by Malta Daily for his opinion about this emerging AI system, Clifton Grima said that he was impressed with how it works and described it as “something very innovative, that will surprise you when you see it working for the first time.”
When asked about ChatGPT’s pros and cons, Education Minister explained that it is “important that our educational institutions see how to take advantage of the benefits of this system and even learn how the same system works.”
Clifton Grima said that the other way would be to ignore the existence of such technological aspects, and loose or remain behind in the process.
“I think it is important that the educational institutions sit around a table, and see how they can benefit from this system and above all learn how it works because that is the secret of the system, you get the benefits from it, and avoid any negative repercussions.”, said Clifton Grima.
