Yesterday, on Friday, 30th June, Gozo witnessed a spectacle like no other as the enchanting city of Cittadella transformed into a mesmerising wonderland of lights. Lejl Imkebbes, a festival of lights, drew thousands of people from all over the island, igniting the narrow streets with the glow of over 30,000 candles in various shapes and forms. The atmosphere was nothing short of magical, providing visitors with a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of Gozo’s stunning landscapes.
As dusk descended upon Cittadella, the illuminated candles cast a warm and inviting glow, creating a truly enchanting ambiance.
