The game took place at Acrisure Arena in California on Sunday night. LeBron, who is set to turn 40 in December, started for the Lakers after missing a previous game.
In contrast, Bronny, a rookie drafted by the Lakers with the 55th pick, came off the bench in the second quarter, coinciding with his 20th birthday.
In the game, LeBron scored 19 points, five rebounds, and four assists in 16 minutes, while Bronny did not score but contributed two rebounds in 13 minutes.
After the match, LeBron expressed his excitement on X, stating the experience was “surreal” and emphasised the significance of sharing this moment with his son.

Bronny shared his excitement as well, noting that while LeBron is his father, he treats him like a teammate on the court. The duo hopes to play together again during the Lakers’ pre-season schedule, which includes matchups against the Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors.
