Lapes, Yulan Law and Kinetic Dance Academy make it to the MGT finals!

Yesterday’s episode of Malta’s Got Talent was one for the books and potentially the most tense and action-packed semi-final yet!

Featuring a marvellous mix of magnificent talents, the third MGT semi-final featured Golden Buzzer winner Nicole Hammett, mentalist Michael Mock and the thrilling Inefable, amongst others, all of whom did not manage to get through to the finals.

The finalists emerging from this episode were the fresh Kinetic Dance Academy, Maltese rap stalwart Il-Lapes and the stunning young songstress, Yulan Law.

“I got punished because I was defending my own colours”; Paul Mbong speaks out

Birkirkara Forward Paul Mbong took to Facebook on Sunday night to condemn the racist acts allegedly called upon him by a Senglea FC player, later apologising to his team mates for leaving them a man down.

Senglea Athletic FC have denied these accusations, with the accused player willing to substantiate his defense with an affidavit. 

In Mbong’s post, he condemns these kind of acts and states that they have no place in 2020, assuring that he will continue to mature from these kinds of situations.

Logan Paul to fight Floyd Mayweather in February

Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul have reached an agreement with one another to secure what they have called a “special exhibition” match in February 2021.

The undefeated boxing champion will take on controversial YouTuber, whose only boxing match was a loss against fellow YouTuber KSI.

The celebrity match has created somewhat of a stir amongst fans of the sport as they have argued that matches such as this ridicule the prestige of the sport and may result in unnecessary injuries of unknowing individuals.

Today is Prime Minister Robert Abela’s 43rd birthday

Today marks the the 43rd birthday of the Prime Minister of Malta, Robert Abela.

The Prime Minister started his day by inaugurating the opening of the second phase of Malta’s Basketball Pavilion.
