Lancaster researchers developing COVID-19 nasal spray vaccine

Lancaster University researchers have engineered a COVID-19 vaccine which can be administered in the form of a nasal spray.

The vaccine process was tested on animals and was found to significantly reduce the spreading of the virus when administered via the nose.

Couple Rumours: Daniel and Ylenia from bay radio might be a thing

Rumours have been circulating about Daniel and Ylenia, two of bay radio’s hosts. Fans seem to think that the two are a couple.

Multiple reports of clues on social media from their followers have also been reported.

Both also pass playful comments while on air, which gives their listeners even more reason to assume so.

UM Medical and Pharmacy students informed that they have been placed on the priority list for COVID-19 vaccination

Following pressure from multiple student organisations; Health Science and medical students who are in a clinical setting will now be given priority for the COVID-19 vaccination.
In a notice issued by the Faculty of Medicine & Surgery, students are informed that they will be on a priority list due to the nature of their studies.
Students are also asked to inform the faculty should they be classified as vulnerable or if they do not want to take the vaccine by today.

Sliema Hold-up; Armed man escaped with cash

Yesterday evening at around 7:30 PM the Malta Police Force was informed of a robbery in Rudolph Street, Sliema.

The man in question was armed with a knife and escaped the scene with cash. No one was injured during the incident and the police are carrying on this investigation.
