The Danish striker celebrated his two-goal performance with a nod to the blockbuster film ‘Gladiator II’, adding theatrical flair to an already memorable night.

Hojlund’s celebration included a thumbs-up gesture that transitioned into a thumbs-down, capped off with a throat-slitting motion a reference to Emperor Geta, played by Joseph Quinn, in the film.

Natalis Notabilis, Malta’s Christmas Village is hitting Rabat’s streets once again this coming festive season for it’s Sixth Edition.

It is the most popular and the most awaited amongst many Christmas lovers across Malta with thousands ocking to Rabat to enjoy what this winter wonderland has to offer in it’s historical streets.

This year the market will be getting bigger, and for the rst time, the event will be organised for 10 consecutive day giving the goers more time to explore unique gifts and indulge in seasonal treats and festive atmosphere.

Again a record of applications from people all across the islands to take part in this year’s edition of Natalis Notablis was surpassed with this year’s edition featuring around 90 stalls. ‘Natalis Notablis’ will be organised between the 6th and 15th December, 2024.

It will see Rabat transform into an enchanting Christmas Village as more new Christmas lights and even new wintery huts will be installed while one can enjoy new attractions around the Market.

During the event, a variety of artisanal products, traditional Christmas food and sweets will be sold while enjoying the entertainment from live buskers, attending various concerts, visiting the Live Nativity Trail and having a sip of Mulled wine.

Drug Bust Of Over 100 Kilograms Of Cocaine At Freeport

During an operation at the Freeport, the Malta Police Force made a bust of over 100 kilograms of drugs suspected to be cocaine on Wednesday evening.

The street value of the drugs is estimated to reach up to €14 million, and they were found in over 50 packets hidden amongst the cables of a container which arrived in Malta from Ecuador’s port of Guayqil.

The drug bust took place during continuous surveillance taking place by the police as part of the effort against drug trafficking, assisted by the Customs Department.

An inquiry has been opened and the drugs have been confiscated as police continue their investigations.
