‘He passed away at 31. I was 9. My brother was 3. Now that we’re older we do realise he didn’t have all the answers. But somehow he gave us enough to help us keep figuring things out. Remain curious.’

Keith shared more photos of the family back when his dad was still around, laying praise for his warmth, love and place as role model in his and Fabian’s life.

‘If you’re lucky enough to still have your dad, grab your phone and take a photo. Now. Ask questions. Listen to his stories. And if like me you only have the memories, repeat them.’

‘Ask his family and friends about him. Because now I realise that love doesn’t need to be present… but to be felt.’
