Netflix has reportedly bought a Kanye West documentary for $30 million. Despite being untitled at the time of writing, the docu-series will chronicle more than two decades of Kanye’s life depicting the artist during his music, fashion and political careers. Billboard reported the $30 million figure, but Variety was informed that the accuracy of this digit is still unconfirmed.

The documentary will allegedly feature West’s mother’s death in 2007. Whether the ongoing divorce with Kim Kardashian will be included is still unknown as there has been no further update on those proceedings since the news hit the media. Netflix has not commented on when the series will be dropping, but it is expected to drop later this year.

People in their late 50s have reportedly started receiving invitations to receive their COVID-19 vaccine. The rest of the age group will soon also be asked to sign up to receive the jab. On Monday, the government urged those over 60 who had yet to receive the invite to contact the authorities to be given an appointment.

Currently, 42% of adults in Malta have received at least one dose of the jab, as confirmed by Health Minister Chris Fearne. The statistics broken down further reveal that 96% of over 80 received the shot, with 86% being over 70 and 76% being over 60. The vaccine has greatly contributed to the easing of COVID-19 related hospitalisations and ITU admissions, with Malta currently having administered 223,020 vaccines of which 61,111 are second doses.

Hamrun Spartans will be crowned champions if Premier League halted

Hamrun Spartans will be crowned champions if Premier League halted
Apr 7 2021 Share

Since the Health Authorities have not yet lifted the ban on sports, the 2020-21 Premier League will be facing the possibility of being halted for a second season. Even though the restrictions were hoped to be lifted by April 11th to allow sport to be practice at the elite level, restrictions on sports will remain in place and may be lifted after April 26th depending on the situation.

The decision on whether the league will be halted will be confirmed on Friday. Should it be halted, Hamrun Spartans will automatically be declared Premier League champions. The reaction to the news that sports ban will not be lifted also prompted South End Core to post on Facebook stating ‘R.I.P Malta Sport.’
