JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is hitting the stage at Sir Temi Zammit Hall, University of Malta, and it’s about to blow the roof off! Mark your calendars  May 2nd and 3rd, 2025 because this is no ordinary night at the theatre. It’s bold, it’s bright, it’s bursting with music, dance, and enough energy to light up the whole island.

This Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice classic takes the age-old biblical story of Joseph, his coat of many colors, and a serious case of sibling rivalry, then cranks it up to eleven. Expect Elvis impersonations, calypso grooves, rock anthems, and show-stopping numbers that’ll have you humming for days. It’s fast-paced, over-the-top, and totally unforgettable.

Oh, and this isn’t some dusty old revival. This musical has earned Tony Award nominations, snatched up a Laurence Olivier Award, and sold out theatres around the world for decades. It’s a global sensation and now, it’s landing in Malta with full force.

Front and center as Joseph is Victorio Gauci, bringing the dreams and the drama. Lon Kirkop turns up the heat as the Pharaoh with a hip-swiveling performance worthy of Vegas. Johanna Hili delivers the goods as the Narrator, your musical compass through all the madness. They’re backed by a killer cast including Clint Chircop, Denilson Brincat, Clive Gauci, and more.

And let’s not forget the magic behind the madness, this technicolor tornado is directed by none other than Tiziana Calleja, whose creative fire guarantees a spectacle that hits hard and stays with you.

Performances are locked in:

Friday, May 2nd at 8:00 PM

Saturday, May 3rd at 4:30 PM and 8:00 PM
