May 13 2024 Share

An old TikTok of disqualified Dutch Eurovision star Joost visiting and walking around Malta has been resurfaced and gone viral amongst the many Eurovision mad fans found in Malta.

Joost who prior his shocking disqualification was named as one of the favourites to win the entire Eurovision has made several fans who wanted to see him go all the way in the grand final. He was disqualified after the EBU had released a statement that he had made a threatening move towards a camera woman whilst backstage.

The old TikTok was posted not that long ago on the 9th of December 2023 and has amassed an insane 2.4 million views and includes various comments from fan telling him that he should have won the iconic Eurovision contest.

The organizers of Netherlands’ AVROTOS released a harsh statement where they called the EBU’s decision as “very heavy and disproportionate”.
