US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden’s beloved German Shepherd Champ has sadly passed away. The dog was with the Biden family for 13 years, one of two German Shepherds living at the White House along with Major. The Biden’s issued a statement saying that ‘in [their] most joyful moments and in our most grief-stricken days, he was there with us, sensitive to our every unspoken feeling and emotion.’

‘We love our sweet, good boy and will miss him always.’ Biden described how Champ still pull himself up and wag his tail despite his waning strength. When Biden was vice-president, Champ was described as being ‘happiest chasing golf balls on the front lawn of the Naval Observatory or racing to catch our grandchildren as they ran around our backyard in Delaware.’ Condolences to the Biden family as the loss of a pet is one of the most heartbreaking experiences one could endure.

Rhoades stated she regrets her time in the industry, stating that she would give up everything to get her dignity and respect back. This is not the first time Lana has criticised the industry, opening up earlier this year about one scene in particular which she deems as one of the worst things she’s done as a performer. She said she feels like she is still in denial and cannot accept the things she has done.

Matthew Grech attempts gay conversion therapy on UK journalist

Matthew Grech attempts gay conversion therapy on UK journalist
Jun 20 2021 Share

Core Issues Trust co-director and River of Love member Matthew Grech is in controversial water after attempting to change reporter Daniel Harding’s sexuality during gay conversion therapy. A reporter for UK news portal the ‘Sunday People’ posed as confused Joe Willis who is seeking guidance after being attracted to men all his life. Harding is himself gay, and had a conversation with Grech who claimed to have helped people ‘leave homosexuality behind.’

Ahead of the Zoom session, Grech informed ‘Joe’ that those wishing to ‘leave homosexuality behind’ need to work on being more assertive and being less shy. He also stated how people who ‘once identified as exclusively gay’ are now married and completely overcome same sex attraction.

Grech, who is not alien to controversy in relation to LGBTIQ+ issues and gay conversion, stated that his understanding is not ideological but actually scientific. He stated that nobody is born with same-sex relations but these are crafted through environmental factors. He also told Joe that homosexuality robs gay people of family as God intended family to be.

The Malta Gay Rights Movement (MGRM) is now considering filing a formal report to police against Grech. MGRM told TVM that they will be investigating the video call to see whether there is legal basis to file the report. Gay conversion therapy is illegal in Malta, but not in the UK. Campaigners are calling for the full ban, protesting that the delay is appalling.
