The Maltese songstress returns to the Eurovision stage with ‘Army’. Janice had garnered national attention after her 2017 Eurovision entry ‘Kewkba’ and looks to keep up the momentum with this year’s entry.

Mangion’s track effectively melds the English language with Maltese and after Eurovision Malta’s 3-year absence, we’re glad to see Janice back on stage.

At just 19 years old, Nicole Hammett captured the attention of the nation with her styling choices, hitting the stage with a classic Maltese għonnella. Her track ‘A Lover’s Heart’ brought some classic Eurovision energy whilst giving an ode to the styles and symbols ingrained in Maltese culture.

Hammett had shot to fame in 2020 after receiving the Golden Buzzer on Malta’s Got Talent.

A dark horse in this year’s competition, Denise is a new face to the Malta Eurovision scene but definitely one that it needed. Her song ‘Boy’ took the island by storm for its contemporary sound and alluring lyrics, with the artist taking it even further with a dazzling on-stage performance.

In her journey through the arts, Denise also took part in spectacles at places like London’s Royal Albert Hall and Disneyland Paris.

A newcomer to the Maltese Eurovision stage, Mark Anthony Bartolo had first captured the attention of Maltese viewers when he appeared in the first season of X Factor Malta.

This year, the 26-year-old performer took to the stage with his guitar and a dream, presenting ‘Serenity’, a song which was inspired by the pandemic and aimed at encouraging appreciation towards life and tranquility.
