Italian motorcyclist dies after losing control of vehicle in Sliema

Police were informed at around 03:00 a.m today of a traffic incident which took place in Triq it-Torri, Sliema.
Preliminary investigations showed that a 45-year-old Italian resident of Gzira lost control of his motorcycle vehicle. He consequently fell off and got dragged along the road before hitting the pavement.A medical team arrived on the spot soon after but he was certified dead on site. Investigations are still ongoing.
