Ibrahimovic Treats Himself To A Ferrari For 43rd Birthday
Oct 8 2024 Share

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has continued his annual tradition of gifting himself a luxury car for his birthday.

This year, the former soccer star, now 43, added a Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale to his impressive collection. Known for his love of Ferraris, Zlatan already owns several models, including the SF90 Spider and Purosangue.

His latest purchase is the most expensive yet, with the SF90 XX Stradale priced between $528,700 and $995,000, depending on the model. The supercar boasts a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine paired with three electric motors, delivering 986 horsepower and reaching 0 to 60 mph in just two seconds.

Ibrahimovic, who serves as a senior advisor for AC Milan, shared his new purchase on social media, as he does each year, accompanied by humorous comments from fans.

Over the years, Zlatan has maintained this extravagant tradition, acquiring Ferraris like the Daytona SP3, 812 Competizione A, and Monza SP2 for previous birthdays.

Despite his passion for Ferraris, Zlatan has also been a Volvo ambassador for the past decade, though he’s rarely seen driving anything other than Ferraris or Porsches. His Instagram post has sparked the usual playful fan reactions, reinforcing his larger-than-life persona both on and off the pitch.

Officer Under Oath Reportedly Confirms 10 Tickets Per Month Quota

Officer Under Oath Reportedly Confirms 10 Tickets Per Month Quota
Oct 8 2024 Share

A police officer has admitted under oath that officers are required to issue a minimum of 10 traffic tickets per month, confirming the existence of an unwritten quota system, Times of Malta has reported.

Officer Clive Mallia reportedly made the statement while testifying in a case involving five individuals accused of assaulting him and another officer after a parking ticket was issued in Ħamrun.

Although Mallia initially denied the existence of an official quota, he later acknowledged that such expectations exist, revealing that quotas in other areas, like St Julian’s, are even higher.

Quota-based systems were previously associated with private firms managing wardens, which had consistently denied their use.

In 2015, then-junior minister Stefan Buontempo announced the abolition of quotas following public complaints.

However, Mallia’s testimony suggests that a form of the quota system still persists within the police force
