How To Tell Your Partner Wants To Marry You

How To Tell Your Partner Wants To Marry You
Jun 28 2024 Share

Experts have revealed the tell all signs to knowing whether your partner wants to marry you, and take it to the next step in your relationship.

If you’re ready to tie the knot but uncertain about whether your partner feels the same, here are the main signs that you may be receiving a marriage proposal in the near future:

You’re invited to meet the family:

Getting an invite to meet the family is one of the first few signs to show you that your partner sees you sticking around for the long haul. According to psychologist Sabrina Romanoff, introducing your partner to important people in your life is a sign that they are serious.

It also shows that they want to integrate you into their life in a meaningful way and making sure you get along with their friends and family.

‘I’ becomes ‘We’:

Another sign that your partner has marriage on the brain is if they start considering you into their long term plans. They would do this by discussing plans such as buying a house together.

If your partner starts referring to the two of you as a ‘we’ instead of a ‘you and I’, this could be another sign that your partner is getting serious about your partnership.

You begin to talk about wedding plans:

A lot of us have though about what our future wedding day may look like. If your significant other often brings up weddings or getting married, they might be trying to see where you stand on the idea.

They’ve been engaged before:

If your partner has been engaged numerous times, it could mean  they either fear commitment  or really believe in marriage.

While these signs don’t mean you should be immediately book wedding venues or pick baby names, if your partner shows several of them, it might be the time to be having an  open  conversation about your future expectations.

MCAST Students Will Get What Is Theirs, Abela Promises As MUT Halts Directives
Jun 28 2024 Share

The Malta Union of Teachers (MUT) has officially retired its directives at MCAST, easing weeks of tension for students who were unable to receive their marks. This resolution follows productive discussions between the MUT and Prime Minister Robert Abela, who pledged that students would receive their marks in a recent Facebook post.

For several weeks, MCAST students were under immense stress due to the directives, which resulted in withheld marks amidst unresolved issues between educators and the administration. This situation has now been alleviated, much to the relief of the student body.

Prime Minister Robert Abela expressed his satisfaction with the outcome, stating in his post: “I am pleased that the discussions we had this week with MCAST students and the MUT have borne fruit. While talks and collective negotiations continue, students will be given what is rightfully theirs so they can move forward with peace of mind to shape their future.”

In a recent statement by the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation, it was highlighted that an agreement was reached with regards to the negotiations between the Malta Union of Teachers and MCAST with regards to the collective agreement. With that, the MUT suspended the directives related to the distribution of students’ exam marks, allowing their academic journey to continue.
