How I Met Your Father: Hulu spin-off series with Hilary Duff begins filming

‘How I Met Your Mother’ fans will be happy to hear that not only is the hit sitcom getting a spin-off led by Hilary Duff, but that the cast & crew are finally on set and production has officially begun.

The series will also feature Chris Lowell, Tomas Ainsley, Suraj Sharma, Tien Train, Francia Raisa and Brandon Micheal Hall and is reportedly being filmed at the 20th Century Studios Set.

With fellow cast-mates like Francia Raisa sharing a few more snaps of the set on her Instagram page and Hulu’s official Instagram alluding to an iconic catchphrase from the old sitcom, the hype is real and we honestly can’t wait.

75 COVID-19 cases registered overnight with 54 overnight

Malta has registered 75 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours from 3,709 swab tests, while 54 patients have recovered. No deaths was registered in the past 24 hours. This information was announced by the official Facebook page of Malta’s Ministry for Health.

As of Wednesday 1st September 2021, 797,562 vaccine doses were administered of which 414,285 were 1st doses. 413,041 people are currently fully vaccinated.

To date, Malta has registered 36,322 COVID-19 cases in total, of which: 34,781 have recovered, 441 died and 704 are still active.

Mater Dei Hospital is currently treating a total of 34 COVID-19 positive patients, two of whom are in the ITU.

Data and information published by the statistical office of the European Union (EU) Eurostat has shown that Malta has the largest share of female prisoners in the European Union.

Data shows that between 2017 and 2019, the highest average shares were noted in Malta, with 9.8 per cent, Latvia with 8.1 per cent, Czechia with 7.8 per cent and Spain and Finland with 7.6 per cent.

The lowest shares of female population within prisons belonged to Bulgaria with 3.2 per cent, France with 3.6 per cent, Denmark and Poland with 4.1 per cent and Italy with 4.3 per cent.

Ronaldo becomes the highest scoring men’s international player

Despite missing a disappointing penalty against the Republic of Ireland last night, Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo managed to secure two late goals to become the highest scoring men’s international player.

The 36-year-old captain now boasts 111 goals in international football and is followed by Iranian Ali Daei with 109 goals, Malaysian Mokhtar Dahari with 89 goals, Hungarian Ferenc Puskas with 84 goals, Zambian Godfrey Chitalu with 79, Iraqi Hussein Saeed with 78, Brazilian Pele with 77 and Lionel Messi with 76.
