Sparking celebrations from Morocco to Paris, Malta’s own Moroccan community took to the streets of St. Julian’s in absolute elation to celebrate the North African nation’s shock 1-0 victory.

In 92 years of World Cup history, this is the first time an Arab or African country has ever reached the last four, with now-national goalkeeping hero Bounou stating “It’s really, really hard to find the words to describe this moment. All our team, the supporters on our backs, this is all I have.”

Following their win at Al Thumama stadium, Morocco will now take on reigning champions France and see whether they can get one step closer to making football history.

Congrats Morocco!

The inspirational athlete has just finished his last marathon of the year, capturing the moment in an emotional clip whilst promising that he will be back ‘stronger and faster next year’.

Whilst surfing in Hawaii, Marovt recalls feeling a sudden pain in his spine and after going to the bathroom, he tried to get up but couldn’t and fell on the floor.

Despite being diagnosed with surfer myelopathy, “an injury that only happens in Hawaii to professional athletes and only on the first day of surfing”, Marovt aims to inspire by dominating feats which he was told would be impossible.

Congratulations Tim!

Nicknamed ‘Sausages on Wheels’, Malta’s community of Dachshund pups were invited to a trip on ‘The Original Train Ride with Santa & Elves’ Christmas Factory, producing some of the cutest, most wholesome images you’ll see this festive season.

Welcoming a total of 42 dogs, Malta Records jury member Jeffrey Saliba recognised the ride and awarded the organisation responsible with a national award.
