Saying that the priority is the wellbeing of the priest and the community, the Archdiocese says that it takes incidents of verbal and other abuse extremely seriously.

‘Given all the circumstances of the case (the Archdiocese) kindly asks for the public’s understanding, and appeals for empathy and sensitivity for all concerned with respect to comments made on social media’.

The Association for Abandoned Animals has given further updates on the rescued dog named Bobby, revealing that the injuries were in fact sustained due to a gunshot.

The AAA revealed via social media that the injuries, which they first taught were sustained due to trampling beneath a car or being mauled by another dog, were in fact gun wounds.

They revealed that Bobby was strong enough to get anaesthesia to close the gaping wound on his neck as X-rays were taken. ‘He has lead pellets all over his body. We have no words’, wrote AAA.

‘There seems to be no hope for animals in this country. None. A country where so many people think that animals can be hurt, abandoned, maimed and abused’, wrote AAA.

‘A country where our politicians refuse to change, amend and introduce new laws’ and with ‘animal welfare in shambles from the very top with no enforcement.’

Crocs is entering 2024 with notable momentum, having redefined its image through strategic collaborations.

The latest addition to the brand’s repertoire is a collaboration with the Naruto franchise, showcasing the versatility of its Classic Clog silhouette. Now, Crocs is drawing inspiration from the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants for a Patrick Star-themed rendition of the Classic Clog.

In this vibrant design, pink hues bring Patrick’s character to life, mirroring his lime green and lavender-covered shorts on the midsole.

True to Crocs’ style, the toe features thematic Jibbitz, depicting various aspects of Patrick, from a sleeping pose to his rock house. The strap showcases Patrick’s face, accompanied by his famous question, “Is mayonnaise an instrument?” cleverly placed on both clogs.

As of now, an official announcement for the SpongeBob SquarePants x Crocs Classic Clog Patrick collaboration is pending.

However, enthusiasts can anticipate its release in the coming weeks through Crocs and select retailers, with the price yet to be disclosed. The collaboration adds another dynamic and engaging dimension to Crocs’ diverse range of footwear.
