Henry got the chance to interact with some big names at the event, including Heidi Klum herself who dressed as a literal worm. The local artist also got to share the space with the world’s richest man Elon Musk.

But that wasn’t the only thing that happened during this New York event. Henry’s day was made when Elon’s mother, Maye Musk re-shared and mentioned Henry’s story at the event as he got a glimpse at Elon himself.

A special surprise awaited Julia Mercieca as she travelled back to Malta from Rome, having unknowingly been the 5 millionth passenger of Air Malta.

Julia was greeted by the Head of Traffic Development upon arriving from Rome aboard KM 613 after a short holiday with her family.

The Malta International Airport also extended its thanks to each of the 5 million passengers who travelled through the airport in 2022. It was also revealed by Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo that around 1.1 million tourists decided to make use of national airline AirMalta throughout this summer.

‘The strategy utilised by the government and Malta Tourism Authority is clearly working.’ This comes as Malta recuperates its pre-pandemic travel numbers following a dip brought on by the COVID-19 virus.

Gozitan MP Alex Borg took to social media to pay tribute to his late father Tony, who passed away after a battle with cancer in 2018.

Tony was 56 when he died and he was known for his continuous service to the Gozitans. Alex took the time to write a few words in loving memory of his beloved father.

‘You left us too early dad’ said Alex. ‘Today, more than ever, I remember all the beautiful moments we had together.’

‘But now that today I’m continuing your legacy, I feel your presence in every step I take. I will never forget the words you used to tell me as the end approached…’

‘If the day ever comes that we can’t be together, keep me in your heart’.

Tony had served as a mayor of Fontana and survived six years despite his diagnosis. His funeral was attended by Archbishop at the time Alfred Xuereb and President Emeritus Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca. Tony had gotten acquainted with the latter through the Malta Community Chest Fund.
