Speaking with Emmanuel Cuschieri, Muscat lamented how due to his assets having been frozen due to having ‘these €30 million hanging over his head’, he cannot even enjoy watching Netflix as he’d have to declare every payment he makes.

During the interview, the former Labour leader said that the court case will end up taking time and sink into bureaucracy, but promises that his case will be the ‘tsunami that will tear down the sand castle of Egrant 2.’

Muscat also said that he feels sorry for other individuals roped into the case, such as the recently resigned Deputy Prime Minister Chris Fearne, and says that this case will led to the collapse of the Nationalist Party after ‘the truth’ emerges.
