Harry Kane set a new Bundesliga record as the fastest player to score 50 goals, achieving the milestone in just 43 games during Bayern Munich’s 3-0 victory over Augsburg.
The 31-year-old England striker scored all three of Bayern’s goals, surpassing Erling Haaland’s record of 50 goals in 50 games for Borussia Dortmund.
After a goalless first half, Kane broke the deadlock with two penalty goals and capped off his hat-trick with a stunning finish. In added time, Leon Goretzka delivered a precise cross, which Kane skillfully controlled to outwit the Augsburg goalkeeper before heading into an open net.

Reflecting on the game, Kane said, “We just kept pushing, and once the penalty came, the game opened up.” Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany praised Kane, noting, “Even when tightly marked, he capitalizes on the smallest opportunities.”
The win solidified Bayern’s position at the top of the Bundesliga, now eight points clear of RB Leipzig.
The team remains unbeaten in 11 games this season, with nine wins and two draws. Kane has contributed 14 goals to Bayern’s campaign so far. Bayern now turns its focus to an upcoming Champions League clash against PSG, hoping Kane’s scoring streak continues.
