Haley Bugeja draws interest from some of Europe’s best Football Clubs

Replay has reported that Haley Bugeja, 16-year-old Maltese Football player who is dominating in her debut at the female football Seria A, has been garnering interest from some of Europe’s best Football Clubs.

The website tuttocalciofemminile.com has reported that among the clubs who are interested in the U.S. Sassuolo player, Bugeja, is Juventus (whom Nicole Sciberras already plays for).

Replay has also been informed that it is not just Italian clubs who are interested in Bugeja but also other European clubs, however, no information regarding actual offers is yet confirmed.

PM Robert Abela stresses importance of upping the COVID-19 vaccine production

Prime Minister, Robert Abela stressed the importance of increasing the production of the COVID-19 vaccine during a virtual meeting of the European Council.

He said that, roll-out is as important as certification of vaccination and that this will facilitate the movement of people in their own countries as well as between countries.

The Prime Minister also said that Malta will keep doing its utmost to vaccinate people as fast as possible.

Pete Buttigieg to form part of Biden’s cabinet

On his first day after being sworn into office, hearing processes have begun within specialised committees in the Senate in order to thoroughly examine those nominated for President Joe Biden’s Cabinet.

One nominee is Pete Buttigieg, who was nominated Minister of Transport. Buttigieg is an integral part of President Biden’s plan towards building a new infrastructural system.

The suggested plan will cost around $1.3 trillion dollars, for a plan which aims to build structures such as schools, roads as well as bridges.

James Bond – No Time To Die movie delayed again due to COVID-19

Daniel Craig’s final appearance as James Bond has been delayed due to coronavirus disruption along with movies like Ghostbusters and Cinderella.

No Time To Die is now set to be released on the 8th of October 2021 as announced on the official James Bond Twitter and Facebook pages. New releases are being heavily impacted world-over due to cinemas largely remaining closed.
