May 17 2024 Share

Rockstar games have finally announced when the long awaited GTA 6 will be released, revealing that the game will see the light of day in the Fall of 2025.

This means that die hard fans of the franchise only have around a year and a half until they can get their hands on the game.

The exciting news was revealed after Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive reported a financial loss of $2.9bn in the last financial quarter.

The company also reported that GTA 5 since it’s release way back in 2013 has managed to sell a whopping 200 million copies becoming the second bestselling video game title after Minecraft’s 300 million sold copies.

The Grand Theft Auto franchise is one of the most critically acclaimed and popular franchises in gaming, with the past several entries often ranking among the best video games ever made.

It is also being reported that the story mode of the game will be based on the story of the two infamous criminals Bonnie and Clyde.
