Gozitan-Australian millionaire Adrian Portelli, who recently made news for buying the most expensive apartment in Melbourne, has just lifted his $3 million McLaren to the exotic 57th storey parking spot.

The McLaren Senna GTR was lifted a whopping 57, after having bought the supercar in October of last year.

This also comes after he posted to instagram that he purchased the $39 million luxury penthouse in Melbourne. Hiring a crane and construction crew to complete the feat, videos show the car being lifted carefully up the many, many floors.

It is also worth noting that, according to news portal Car Expert, the apartment is still being built.

Portelli wrote to Instagram, thanking everyone involved ‘for making this absolutely surreal moment happen.’

The Busker issued their first official reaction to their elimination from the Eurovision after their performance in second place last night.

The boys explained that despite their elimination, they are in no way devalued as artists. Dav. Jr explained in the video that when one is in a competition, one has to be ready to either win or lose.

Taking the elimination with complete sportsmanship, they explained that they always believed in their song Dance (Our Own Party), but the way Eurovision works through tele-voting makes it very difficult for countries like Malta to get through.

The boys also expressed their hopes that one day, Malta might make it to the top in the competition, urging Maltese artists to not be discouraged by the whole endeavour.

However, he thanked everyone for being on their side and showing them support all the way through. They also teased some possible work in the future, so we’ll be keeping our eyes on this trio!

Matthew Camilleri and Peppijna Dalli, two local stunt performers, took their camping experience to the next level as they resided on a tent pitched to the side of Siġġiewi’s Xaqqa cliffside.

In a video and a couple of photos uploaded to social media, the couple showed the setting up of the platform which was the only thing (bar a lot of ropes) keeping them from plummeting into the valley below.

But the pair, accustomed to adrenaline-infused scenarios, simply whipped out some hot beverages and food and huddled up to enjoy the astounding view of the Maltese cliffside.

And while we’d personally stick to camping on solid ground, we can’t help but be impressed by this pair’s adventurous spirit!

Here’s how Malta reacted to The Busker’s Eurovision elimination

Here's how Malta reacted to The Busker's Eurovision elimination
May 10 2023 Share

Last night saw The Busker take to the Eurovision semifinal stage to perform their highly energetic song ‘Dance (Our Own Party)’ in second place.

Unfortunately for the boys, the song did not qualify for the final, set to take place next Saturday. This of course prompted the Maltese public to react to the elimination. What did the Maltese have to say about it?

For starters, many praised The Busker for their delivery, commenting that they still made the island proud with their performance and radiant positivity.

Accompanied to such comments were of course expressions of disbelief and frustration, with some wondering why some songs got to go through and The Busker’s didn’t.

One even said that The Busker scared the other competitors for being good and thus they didn’t want to see it go toe-to-toe against certain countries in the final.

There were also the to-be-expected comments questioning why Malta even bothers with the competition in the first place, citing politics and other possible reasons as to why Malta didn’t qualify.

One thing was clear though – the appreciation for Dave, Jean Paul and Sean is obvious. The trio’s charisma and talent were undeniable throughout the whole journey. And that, coupled with their performance, is what they will be remembered for!

Well done nonetheless boys!
