Malta’s Eurovision 2025 representative Miriana Conte has just unveiled the title of her new song: ‘Għajjejt (i8)’.
The title is another word play on a Maltese word, għajjejt, which means ‘I’m tired.’
However, as one of her Instagram swipes rightly explains, the way it is pronounced sounds like someone saying ‘I ate’, which has become an iconic exclamation of approving someone’s ‘serve’.

‘So yes, it means “I’m tired”m but it also sounds like a serve. Accident? We don’t think so.’
Miriana also shared a snippet of the track’s chorus and we really in for another serve by Miriana!
