Germany and France were preparing for a new lockdown on Wednesday, as governments are trying to stop the rapidly increasing wave of coronavirus cases that are starting to flood European hospitals.
Although Germany has been doing better than many of its neighboring European countries during the pandemic, officials warn that it, too, is beginning to lose control of the situation and can very soon be uncontrollable.

Danny Green, a veteran of Los Angeles Lakers, told The Ringer that he didn’t think the Lakers players would want to turn up for a short off-season training camp.
Green said that LeBron James would not appear for the first month, citing the wear and tear of James’ ninth final appearance in 10 years. Green said the Lakers could be in the minority, since many teams had ample time to be ready for the next season.
