Following Coldplay’s spectacular concert in Kuala Lumpur on November 22, which drew a record-breaking attendance of over 75,000 fans, an unexpected attendee stole the spotlight – a frog.

Spotted quietly hopping around the stadium during the first song, “Higher Power,” a fan named @joeysugar_j decided to make the frog part of the unforgettable Coldplay experience.

She caught the frog and held it up so it could enjoy the performance.

Sharing a unique “Coldplay moment” with the amphibian, she released it onto the grass outside the stadium after the song.

Although tempted to keep the frog, Joey hesitated due to the two-hour concert duration and, instead, sought the assistance of guards.

They guided her to an outdoor patch of grass where she released the frog, allowing it to find its way home. The heartwarming encounter added an unexpected touch to an already remarkable concert experience, showcasing the power of music to connect even the most unlikely fans.

Malta.ai has tried the ongoing trend of asking artificial intelligence to intensify a particular quality on an image – in this case, making the boy in the image progressively more Maltese.

The boy starts out as a humble local lad before suddenly growing up into a bearded fisherman. Following an other de-ageing, he takes on knightly qualities.

Clad in armour and standing gigantically in a Maltese port, he then transcends his humanity as is typical of this trend.

What do you make of this fun little experiment?

Oxford University Press Chooses “Rizz” As Word Of The Year 2023

Oxford University Press Chooses "Rizz" As Word Of The Year 2023
Dec 4 2023 Share

If you possess the ability to charm or flirt with potential partners, you might already have “rizz,” the Oxford Word of the Year for 2023.

Primarily used by young people, “rizz” is an internet slang term denoting romantic appeal or charm. Oxford lexicographers selected it from a shortlist of eight words representing the mood and preoccupations of 2023, as determined by a public vote.

The term, widely popularised on platforms like TikTok, is defined as style, charm, or attractiveness, especially concerning the ability to attract romantic or sexual partners. It is believed to be a condensed form of the word “charisma” and can be used as a verb, as in “to rizz up,” meaning to attract or seduce someone.

Other contenders on the shortlist included “beige flag,” describing a partner perceived as boring or lacking originality, and “situationship,” referring to a non-formal or established romantic or sexual relationship.

The Oxford University Press clarified that words without draft definitions are already present in the Oxford English Dictionary, while those with drafts may be added after evaluating their longevity, frequency, and breadth of usage. Notably, the previous year’s word was “goblin mode,” representing unapologetically self-indulgent behaviour.
