Batman x Crocs Classic Clog “Batmobile” To Release

Aug 19 2024 Share

The Batman x Crocs Classic Clog “Batmobile” is a striking homage to the iconic Batmobile from the 1989 Batman movie, offering fans a bold blend of nostalgia and style. This special edition footwear captures the essence of the Batmobile, a vehicle that has become a lasting symbol of Batman’s technological prowess and dark allure.

Inspired by the Batmobile’s radical redesign in Tim Burton’s Batman (1989), these clogs are more than just shoes—they’re a statement piece. The ’89 Batmobile, with its sleek silhouette, turbine wheels, and bulletproof armor, represented a futuristic yet gothic vision of the Dark Knight’s ride. Designed by Anton Furst, this Batmobile was packed with gadgets and features that helped Batman dominate Gotham’s streets, becoming one of the most iconic vehicles in cinematic history.

The Batman x Crocs Classic Clog channels this legendary design with glossy black accents and intricate details that mirror the Batmobile’s turbine engines and armor plating. The clog even features a rear spoiler mimicking the Batmobile’s tail fins and a Bat-Signal charm on the upper, symbolizing Batman’s watchful presence over Gotham. These meticulously designed clogs are a must-have for any Batman enthusiast, merging comfort with the dark, powerful spirit of the Caped Crusader’s most famous ride.

Over 135,000 People Travelled Between Malta, Gozo For Santa Marija Week

Over 135,000 People Travelled Between Malta, Gozo For Santa Marija Week
Aug 19 2024 Share

Gozo experienced a bustling week during the Santa Marija festivities, continuing a trend from previous years where this period is especially busy for tourism.

Between Monday, August 12, and Sunday, August 18, Gozo Channel operated over 700 ferry trips with four vessels, at times adding unscheduled trips to meet the high demand.

During this week, the company transported around 135,660 passengers and 46,740 vehicles, numbers that closely match those from the same week last year.

Gozo Highspeed, which runs the fast ferry service between Valletta and Gozo, completed approximately 220 trips, carrying about 28,550 passengers.

Minister for Gozo and Planning, Clint Camilleri, noted that this week once again fulfilled the expectations of the island’s tourism operators.

“We received very positive feedback, with all operators reporting full capacity during what is considered the peak week of summer,” Minister Camilleri stated.

He highlighted that these results demonstrate the effectiveness of the government’s efforts, as Gozo continues to attract a significant amount of both local and international tourists.

“With a wide variety of activities and the natural beauty of Gozo, we are becoming the top choice for many, and the feedback we’ve received has been extremely encouraging,” Minister Camilleri concluded.
