Among the highlights are the Good Friday processions on the 24th, which include a special procession for children from the Crossroads of Church Street to Victory Square in Xagħra, alongside another significant procession in Victoria. These processions are a profound representation of local traditions and religious devotion.

Adding to the solemnity of Holy Week, the Ta’ Kerċem village will present “Lux Crucifixus” on Thursday and Friday. This event will see the village adorned with candles, lights, and religious symbols, creating a serene and reflective atmosphere that encapsulates the essence of the season.

As Easter approaches, the celebrations take a more jubilant turn. On March 31st, the Villa Rundle Gardens in Victoria will come alive with the ‘Hip-Hop Hurray’ Easter Egg Hunt. Scheduled from 10AM to 5PM, this family-friendly event promises a day filled with fun activities including an Easter Bunny appearance, arts and crafts, games, and more, all set in the picturesque Gozitan capital.

Furthermore, Good Friday processions are also planned in San Lawrenz, San Ġorġ, Nadur, Xagħra, and Żebbuġ.
