Flames Of Nativity Fireworks Show Over Xewkija, Gozo

A synchronised fireworks spectacled entitled ‘Flames of Nativity’ took over the skies of Xewkija, Gozo for the Festa ta’ San Ġwann Battista yesterday, Saturday 21st of June.

A collaboration between Mellieħa Fireworks, Mount Carmel Fireworks Factory Żurrieq and Xewkija Fireworks, the spectacle saw various colours lighting up the night sky accompanied by iconic musical tracks.

Fireworks are a staple of Maltese summer festa celebrations, with local pyrotechnic experts having honed their skills over the years to create ever more complex artistry.

Artists With Down Syndrome Creating Airport Entrance Art

Tourists and others arriving at the Malta International Airport will be greeted by artwork created by the Down Syndrome Association Malta!

In a visit to the association, Minister Chris Bonett met with the artists who are currently hard at work creating art that will colour the entrance to our airport as peak summer seasons start to ramp up.

Minister Bonett also had the chance to meet Hannah, who is leading the group in creating the exceptional art work that will transform the airport’s entrance.
