Finland’s Eurovision Song Contest representative Erika Vikman took to Miriana Conte’s Instagram page to show her support after the title word ‘KANT’ was banned.

The singer of “Ich Komme” commented on the Maltese singer’s most recent post saying: “It’s always KANT in our hearts”.

The news was shared by Adam McCallig, a self described ‘Irish Eurovision Hype Machine’, with the video amassing over 26.9K views on TikTok.

The post by Miriana revealed that her team was notified that the Eurovision Broadcasting Union has decided against using the Maltese word ‘Kant’.

‘While I’m shocked and disappointed, especially since we have less than a week to submit the song, I promise you this: the show will go on – Diva NOT down.’

The profile has already accumulated almost 300 followers, and has four posts uploaded as of yet.

Their latest post has them on their way to the groomer: ‘Throwback to last Thursday on my way to the groomer – gotta look my best for my Big Brother entrance!’
