Finding A New Home For Nicky Sansone’s Cats

Finding A New Home For Nicky Sansone's Cats
Aug 12 2024 Share

Second Chance is reaching out to find a loving home for two cats that belonged to the late Nicky Sansone, a respected LGBTIQ+ activist who recently passed away from cancer.

Although many may not have known Nicky personally, her final video touched many lives, and her legacy continues to inspire.

A close friend of Nicky shared how deeply she cared for her cats: “Nicky loved her cats like they were her children. During her last months, they provided her with immense comfort, always by her side, sensing that she was unwell.

These cats are calm, loving, and playful—true cuddle bugs, just as Nicky raised them. Despite recent challenges, they’ve remained well-behaved, though they’ve spent a lot of time alone.”

Second Chance urgently needs to re-home these two cats together; Tiger: A 9-year-old ginger male; and Billy: A 6-year-old female.

Both cats are neutered and should be kept indoors. Please help by sharing this message and reaching out if you or someone you know can offer them a loving home. If you can assist, please send a private message to Second Chance. Thank you for your support!

A key tradition of the Ħamrun San Gejtanu feast involves carrying the grand statue up the church steps, an event eagerly awaited by the crowd.

As the statue bearers make their way up the steps, often managing to run despite the heavy load, feast-goers cheer them on, marking the climax of the celebrations.

The San Gejtanu feast, held over the weekend, is also known for the spirited rivalry between the St. Joseph and San Gejtanu band clubs. The two groups march through the streets, playing their music and engaging in playful taunts directed at each other.
