The police have arrested a 28-year-old Sudanese man in relation to a homicide in Marsa on Sunday.

Yesterday evening, at around 6:30pm, the Malta Police Force was informed of an argument between two persons in Triq Feliċjan Bilocca, Marsa. Officials within the Rapid Intervention Unit (RIU) went on site to find an unconscious man lying on the floor with injuries from a sharp object.

The victim, who has yet to be identified, was assisted by a medical team where he was found to have sustained four hits from a knife in his chest and back. He was taken to Mater Dei via ambulance but unfortunately was certified dead moments after.

An RIU operation resulted in the discovery of the Sudanese man in a neighbouring road, where he was found in possession of the knife which was allegedly used in the crime. The alleged aggressor is currently being held in lockup in Police Headquarters in Floriana.

Whilst on an Erasmus programme in Turkey, Jordan wanted to get something which is typically Maltese and the iconic little Twistees chef is definitely a stalwart of Maltese snack culture.

Jordan reportedly wants to get a few more Maltese characters tattooed… Off the top of our head, why not get the Mr. Riley mascot? Or the Lamb Brand lamb…. the possibilities are endless!

What Maltese character would YOU consider getting tattooed?

“I’m not Spiderman”; Eve Borg Bonello addresses fake Tinder profile

"I'm not Spiderman"; Eve Borg Bonello addresses fake Tinder profile
Jul 24 2022 Share

Nationalist Party MP Eve Borg Bonello has fallen victim to a fake Tinder profile… under the name ‘Spider-Man’.

The young politician took to social media to clarify that she is not, in fact, the wall-crawling Marvel superhero Spider-Man, jokingly excusing herself with anyone who may have been disappointed by the revelation.

It appears that Borg Bonello took the act lightly but it is imperative to understand the dangerous consequences of fake Tinder profiles. Using others’ image to create a fake profile is illegal, unethical and may carry potentially catastrophic consequences.

Anyone with any information regarding fake profiles is encouraged to contact the authorities at their earliest convenience.

What do you make of this?
