A 52 year old was charged on Tuesday for groping and harassing his 12 year old daughter.

The Malta Independent revealed that Inspector Joseph Busuttil told the court that the girl had contacted the Domestic Violence Unit to report her father for touching her inappropriately for the past year.

The inspector said how the girl’s mother occasionally told the defendant to stop groping the young girl’s chest and buttocks.

However, the father, whose name was not published, said that he had only been joking with his daughter and did not mean it in a sexual way. The man was charged with performing acts of a sexual nature without consent.

Despite no request for bail being made, the man still pleaded not guilty.

Bolt, the first European super-app partnered with Hugo’s Burger Bar to donate €1 each to Puttinu Cares for each order placed on 6th April 2023.

The generous initiative will see the donation paid directly by Bolt and Hugo’s Burger Bar. This means that customers will get no additional cost as they still donate to an immensely good cause.

Puttinu Cares is, as you probably already know, a children’s cancer support group which was set up in October 2002.

‘The goal of this partnership is to support the marathon organised by Puttinu Cares which aims to raise funds to support children and their families that are affected by cancer.’

‘We are very passionate about this initiative and would love to spread the word about it as much as possible. That is why we are reaching out to you, as we believe that your platform would be an excellent way to communicate about this and reach a wider audience’ the brands said.
