After years of waiting, all four Shrek films are finally on Netflix, in addition to the Christmas Special, Puss in Boots and Shrek The Musical.

The franchise films have been missing from the platform and left a certain emptiness in fans’ hearts, with Mike Myers’ iconic animated film finally landing on the streaming giant.

The 2001 original exploded onto the scene, going on to become a cult classic with an iconic soundtrack, with three sequels eventually released.

Police superintendent praises Hamrun for following police orders at celebrations

Following Hamrun Spartans’ Premier League victory and the events that ensued, Police Superintendent Sandro Camilleri took to Facebook to praise the people of Hamrun and Spartans fanatics for co-operating with police instructions as well as the Hamrun Mayor and Spartans Committee for their public appeal.

Camilleri reported that very few individuals were caught in breach of police orders and were duly punished, going on to highlight how the health and safety of the people is of utmost importance during the pandemic.

Camilleri concluded by thanking members of the police force involved in the event, along with Health Authorities, LESA, Transport Malta and all other authorities and entities.

Robert Abela leads in trust rating as Grech secures highest performance so far

The latest MaltaToday survey has revealed that Prime Minister Robert Abela’s trust rating has bounced back with seven points after suffering an all-time low back when Malta hit a surge in COVID-19 cases in March. Abela thus climbs to 47.2% with PN Leader Bernard Grech trailing at 35.8%, his highest trust rating so far.

The survey also notes a halt to the Labour Party’s downward trend, with support at 41.8% and PN at 35.6% with an increase in three and 2.6 points respectively.

The results of this survey suggest that Labour may be ahead with around 26,000 votes, assuming that unsure voters will vote according to their last election choice, with new voters split equally.
