Eve Borg Bonello files police report against online slander after posting photo on Facebook

Nationalist Party activist and President of Team Start PN, Eve Borg Bonello uploaded a post on social media with a photo of herself taking part in a rubbish clean-up organised by PN youth group Team Start at Fort Chambray on which she wrote, “Miexja lura minn Kastilja”.

This comment created a whirlpool of controversy and a number of people took to the comments section where a lot of hate speech was left.

Eve Borg Bonello went to the police’s Hate Crime & Speech unit to file a report. Borg Bonello said that she already has open cases in court over similar situations that happened in the past.

The first edition will have the following categories:
Individual Male/Female Rx
Individual Male/Female scaled
Teams of 3 (2 Males, 1 Female)

This competition will be your chance to test your fitness among top European athletes and to have a chance to compete under the Maltese sun ☀️

208 COVID-19 cases registered overnight with 200 recoveries

Malta has registered 208 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours from 3,565 swab tests, while 200 patients have recovered. This information was announced by the official Facebook page of Malta’s Ministry for Health.

As of Wednesday 27th January 2021, 23,512 vaccine doses were administered.

To date, Malta has registered 17,400 COVID-19 cases in total, of which: 14,452 have recovered, 261 died and 2,687 are still active.

Halsey is pregnant with her first child!

American singer Halsey is pregnant with her first child! She dropped the news yesterday on Instagram with a series of photos showing off her baby bump.

Halsey tagged screenwriter Alev Aydin on her belly in the Instagram post, possibly revealing that he is the father of her child.

Aydin commented on the post, saying: “Heart so full, I love you, sweetness.”

Halsey wrote back saying,  “I love you!!!!! And I love this mini human already!”.
