Hundreds of people gathered in Valletta to participate in a national protest with the theme “xebbajtuna” organised by Moviment Graffitti.

Speaking about this protest, Christine Cassar from NGO Moviment Graffitti explained that “we are living a state of emergency because the quality of life and the natural environment of our islands are deteriorating rapidly due to a frenzy of reckless building everywhere.”

The NGO, and hundreds of people are demanding an environmental and planning reform as soon as possible.
