After several weeks of speculation by football fans, the European Super League was announced. The league will be played during mid-week and will be lead by the teams that have announced their participation in said league. The teams will be discussing with UEFA and FIFA to find a better solution for football. UEFA along with other federations will be taking action against the teams in the league, and will be suspended from European and local competitions.
12 teams have been announced to be participating in this competition; including Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter, Milan, Juventus, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspurs and Atletico Madrid. The clubs will be given $3.5 billion to ease the effects of the pandemic.
