EU launches legal action against AstraZeneca

EU launches legal action against AstraZeneca
Apr 27 2021 Share

After the company AstraZeneca allegedly failed to respect the contract with the EU bloc and did not deliver the required amount of vaccines, the EU has launched legal action against the pharmaceutical company. EU spokesman Stefan De Keersmaecker stated that ‘the commission has started last Friday a legal action against the company AstraZeneca on the basis of breaches of the advanced purchase agreement.’

The reason for legal action was that the company was not in a ‘position to come up with a reliable strategy to ensure a timely delivery of doses’. The pharmaceutical giant has stated that it regrets the decision to take legal action and that it will be defending itself strongly in court. AstraZeneca has been one of the most important vaccine providers, but the slow deliveries have frustrated many EU countries as the battle against COVID-19 continues.

We would like to introduce you to the young, but immensely talented Benjamin Magro, whose creation was shortlisted in an international Songwriting competition across all 4 categories. His song ‘Talk’ was shortlisted on Song Academy and Benjamin is making immense strides at the age of just 9!

Dizzy Goku has collaborated with local DJ Siconix to bring this relaxing but introspective hip-hop track. Dizzy brings in his philosophical verse which, accompanied by Siconix’s iconic sound, creates music one can both relax or jam to.

Daniel Sant has returned with a new song and despite it being called ‘Intruder’, we are genuinely enthusiastic to feature his fresh track. Daniel’s hypnotic voice and crisp product are the ideal way of bringing in listeners into his musical universe.

KAOS is an immensely well-brought together song by local rock n’ roller Kersten Graham. Expressing his frustration with society’s seeming inability to communicate clearly and peacefully. KAOS is a genuine head banger we’ll be turning the volume up to whenever it comes on.
