Minister Farrugia visited the Centre for Heavy Waste in Luqa, where some reusable objects were already on display. Farrugia went on to state that this project is one of the most effective in decreasing our impact on the environment and highlighted the fact that these centres are aimed at creating a sustainable and circular economy.

WasteServ Chief Executive Richard Bilocca stated that via these centres, WasteServ will be preventing waste by promoting the use of objects which are still in good condition whilst also encouraging creative & responsible consumption as well as a hopeful increase in DIY projects.
