16-year-old singer and a familiar face from Malta’s Got Talent Season 1, Emma Cutajar, will be representing our country in the Commonwealth Song Contest.
The contest, which was first held in 2018 during the Commonwealth Games, is an international music event for the 56 nations in the Commonwealth.
Administered by the UK Songwriting Contest, the finalists were announced to reveal that Emma will be the singer representing the island in this now renowned competition.
The song was written by Emma when she was 14 years old as a tribute to her sister whom she never got the chance to meet. She first performed this song during the first season of Malta’s Got Talent, earning her the Golden Buzzer by judge Maxine Attard Aquilina.
