Emily Ratajkowski is pregnant and here’s why she won’t tell us the gender

Model, writer and actor Emily Ratajkowski announced that she is pregnant with her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard!

In an essay for Vogue, the social media superstar shared her excitement about welcoming her baby into the world and asserted the unimportance of gender. 

“We like to respond that we won’t know the gender until our child is 18 and that they’ll let us know then”, she stated as she went on to state that humanity is more complex than gender preconceptions.

70-year-old man is the 54th victim of COVID-19

The Health Ministry has announced the 54th victim of COVID-19 in Malta. 

He is a 70-year-old man who was admitted to Mater Dei on the 15th of October and tested positive on the same day. 

The health authorities have reported that the man had underlying health conditions. The island currently stands at 1,895 active cases.

PN Leader calls for rapid testing from all entry points to Malta

In his post-budget reaction, Nationalist Party leader Bernard Grech offered a number of counter-proposals for the 2021 Budget.

Grech countered Prime Minister Abela’s claim back in June that we beat the pandemic, when we in fact did not.

Amongst other proposals, Grech called for rapid testing for all individuals coming into Malta from all entry points.

Grech calls for supplementary vouchers for COVID-19 supplies

Starting from Thursday 29th October, the In his Budget 2021 reaction in Parliament, PN leader Bernard Grech offered a number of counter-measures for Malta. 

One of the first proposals was that citizens should get supplementary vouchers for masks, sanitisers, gloves and other supplies to protect themselves from the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure public safety.

He went on to refer to Prime Minister Abela’s claim that it is the best budget in our country’s history and rather call it “the biggest deficit in our country’s history”.
