In response to the devastating flood in Libya and earthquake in Morocco, eeetwell stands in solidarity with the affected communities and extends its heartfelt condolences to those who have lost their loved ones and homes.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the survivors as they begin the challenging journey of recovery and rebuilding. The flood in Libya occurred on September 11, 2023, while the earthquake in Morocco struck on September 8, 2023.

These catastrophic events have left a profound impact on the lives of countless individuals and families in both countries. The flood in Libya has caused extensive damage to homes, infrastructure, and public spaces, leaving many in dire need of essential resources and support.

Similarly, the earthquake in Morocco has had devastating consequences, requiring urgent assistance. Eeetwell, committed to humanitarian efforts and disaster relief, recognises the urgency of these situations and is collaborating with local people and organisations on the ground to donate all the sales made in all their outlets in Malta during Friday, September 22nd, and Saturday, September 23rd.

Unity and compassion are the keys to overcoming adversity, so we call upon individuals, businesses, and organisations to join hands with eeetwell and contribute to the relief efforts in both Libya and Morocco.

Your support can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by these tragedies.

Lorinda Mamo, Henry’s loving mother, used the power of Instagram to share her gratitude and happiness with the world. In a heartfelt post, she expressed her appreciation for the exceptional care provided by the medical team attending to Henry. She showered praise on the surgeons, doctors, and nurses who had worked tirelessly to ensure her son’s well-being. Her message was one of profound thanks: “You’re all amazing – so amazing.”

“The days get long and lonely, and you truly helped me more than you know,” Lorinda wrote, highlighting the emotional toll that such a journey can take on a parent.

Henry’s journey began immediately after his birth when he was diagnosed with Prune Belly Syndrome and Chronic Kidney Disease. For the first six weeks of his life, he remained in the Neonatal Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (NPICU) at Mater Dei Hospital, where a dedicated team of medical professionals closely monitored his condition.

At the tender age of four, Henry received a life-changing gift from his father—a kidney donation that would ultimately save his life.
