UK 10PM curfew to be scrapped when pubs re-open

Feb 6 2021 Share

According to a new article from The Sun newspaper, the currently-imposed 10PM curfew will be scrapped when pubs reopen.

The Sun alleged that PM Boris Johnson has planned for measures to be simplified as they pave the way for the post-lockdown situation, looking at an opening as early as May.

The newspaper credits ‘multiple Whitehall sources and ministers’ but stresses that the idea is still in its early days and any changes would reflect the state of the country with the pandemic taken into consideration.
