Inside Out 2 Gets New Teaser & Emotion: Anxiety

Inside Out 2 Gets New Teaser & Emotion: Anxiety
Nov 10 2023 Share

Pixar has just released the first teaser for the sequel to Inside Out, and they’re introducing a brand new emotion: Anxiety!

The 2015 film was critically acclaimed by movie critics and fans of the animation studio, with many praising the film for its highly accurate depiction of human emotion and how they progress as one grows up.

Following the life of 11-year-old Riley and the five main emotions in her brain – Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger and Fear – it looks as though the host will be going through some bigger life changes.

After her subconscious is violently wrecked by a surprise demolition day, a bright orange character joins the co-captains inside Riley: anxiety.

The character seems to be changing a lot within Riley and the other emotions will have to learn to live alongside this new complicated emotion. But posters, and a quip by Anxiety, reveals that there will be more joining

The film already promises to investigate the complexities of mental health, giving it an anthropomorphic spin to teach and make us all cry in classic Pixar fashion.

PA Approval Of Apartments Near Ġgantija Sparks Outrage

PA Approval Of Apartments Near Ġgantija Sparks Outrage
Nov 10 2023 Share

The Planning Authority has granted approval for a 22-apartment block and 20 basement garages near Ġgantija Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Xagħra, Gozo, despite UNESCO’s request for a heritage impact assessment.

The decision, with seven votes in favor and one against from NGO representative Romano Cassar, occurred less than 200 meters from the temples.

Cassar insisted on conducting the heritage impact assessment before making a decision and emphasized the project’s landscape impact. The Planning Authority argued that neither the Superintendent of Cultural Heritage nor the UNESCO World Heritage Sites Technical Committee objected to the building’s volume and massing.

The development, located 157 meters from the temples, has faced objections from hundreds, citing potential impacts on Ġgantija’s World Heritage status.

Moviment Graffitti shared the news, highlighting that the PA ‘ignored the request by UNESCO to carry out an evaluation of the impact on the historical site before a decision is taken.’

‘It is absurd and totally unacceptable that we have arrived at a point where even prehistoric temples of our country are under threat from this unhinged infrastructural development’, wrote the activist group.
